Bluestone Lane are an Australian coffee shop based in New York, and they just opened their 13th location on Water Street in the Financial District. It is always a pleasure to document their beautifully designed stores and drink some of their hand crafted espresso drinks. This time I sampled the new "Beet" latte, and was pleasantly surprised by its sweetness.

Russell Sage Foundation Dinner
Russell Sage (August 4, 1816 – July 22, 1906) was a financier, railroad executive and Whig politician from New York, United States. As a frequent partner of Jay Gould in various transactions, he amassed a fortune. Olivia Slocum Sage, his second wife, inherited his fortune, which was unrestricted for her use. In his name she used the money for philanthropic purposes, endowing a number of buildings and institutions to benefit women's education: she established the Russell Sage Foundation in 1907 and founded the Russell Sage College for women in 1916.

NYBG Family Forest
The Family Forest is an incredible space found within the New York Botanical Gardens that truly shines in the fall when all of the indigenous New York trees get the most brilliant fall foliage. I had photographed him a number of times at the New York Stock Exchange as the former CEO. They had a fantastic opportunity to get close to some birds of prey from the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
