Strongbow is a dry cider produced by H. P. Bulmer in England since 1962. The dry cider is the world's leading cider with a 15 per cent volume share of the global cider market, and a 29 per cent volume share of the UK cider market. Bulmer's is a subsidiary of Heineken International, the multinational Dutch brewer.

In 2011, Strongbow Gold, produced in Belgium, was launched across Europe in response to cider's growing popularity on the continent. In 2012, Strongbow was the highest selling cider in Australia, and was the second highest selling cider in North America.

The majority of Strongbow is produced at Bulmer's Hereford plant, although regional variations are also produced at Heineken's cider mill in Belgium, and in Australia, where SABMiller own the rights to the brand.

In 2014, the original Strongbow dry cider was discontinued in the USA by Heineken and replaced with two new sweeter variants.

Bernard Cazeneuve (born June 2, 1963) is a French Socialist politician and current Minister of the Interior. Born in Senlis, Oise, Cazeneuve rose to prominence with his election as a deputy of the National Assembly representing the 5th constituency of Manche in 1997, and as mayor of Cherbourg-Octeville in 2001.

In 2012, he was appointed Minister of State for European Affairs in the first Ayrault Government, and in 2013 was named Minister of State for the Budget in the second Ayrault Government after the resignation of Jérôme Cahuzac. On April 2, 2014 he was appointed the 42nd Minister of the Interior in the First Valls Government, a role he retained on August 27, 2014 with the formation of the Second Valls Government.

A head shot or headshot is a specific type of portrait (usually a photograph) that realistically demonstrates a person's appearance for branding or casting.

Corporate and business Head Shots - Corporate head shots are portraits often produced digitally and used for engaging in social media, the about us page and industry specialty sites. A Headshot or Head Shot is often used for branding and to showcase the business leaders life, style and personality while Corporations will use the headshot to merge branding between the people working for them and its agency. Traditional head shots are still taken in a studio setting, though shots "on-location" or "in-the-field" continue to increase in popularity. In both cases, backgrounds tend to be simple. Subjects are often shown head-to-chest or head-to-torso.

Tibetan Uprising Day in New York City - March 10, 2016. I lived in Dharmsala for a year in 2002 - 2003 working for the Tibet Museum that managed the personal photography archive of His Holiness The Dalai Lama. It was a life changing experience, archiving and documenting the historic documents of the cultural destruction that was seen in Tibet since the middle of last century. I worked closely with the Tibetan Government in Exile and made many life long friends in the small Himalayan village known as McLeod Ganj. It's always a solemn reminder on March 10 and an opportunity for me to look back on that experience. It was particularly special to hear Robert Thurman speak this year as I have read some of his books, or attempted to wrap my head around the vast texts on Tibetan Buddhism that he has written.

Tibetan Uprising Day, observed on March 10, commemorates the 1959 Tibetan uprising against the presence of the People's Republic of China in Tibet. The failure of the armed rebellion ultimately resulted in a violent crackdown on Tibetan independence movements, and the flight of the Dalai LamaTenzin Gyatso into exile.

Tibetan Uprising Day is observed primarily by organizations and individuals who support Tibet such as Students for a Free Tibet, and is often accompanied by the release of a statement by the Dalai Lama. Tibetan independence groups often organize protests or campaigns on March 10 to draw attention to the situation in Tibet.

In 2008, a series of riots and violent clashes broke out in the Tibetan city of Lhasa when monks were arrested during peaceful demonstrations.[5] The events in Lhasa triggered a nationwide uprising with protests occurring in every region. The Central Tibetan Administration estimates the number of Protests to have occurred in 2008 to be 336.
