I wouldn’t call myself a sports photographer, but I always enjoy the challenge of photographing sports events or athletes when the opportunity comes up. There’s something about the energy, movement, and raw emotion in sports that makes for incredible photography. Whether it’s capturing the intensity of an athlete in action or the atmosphere of a big event, it’s a fun change of pace from my usual work. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to photograph everything from IPOs and galas to chefs in the kitchen, and occasionally, that includes some exciting sports moments. While I may not be on the sidelines every weekend, I always appreciate the opportunity to step into that world and capture it with my own perspective.

Photographing a celebrity chef in Times Square was an unforgettable experience! The energy of the city combined with the excitement of working with someone so well-known in the culinary world created the perfect backdrop for a dynamic shoot. Capturing the chef in the midst of such a vibrant, bustling location brought a unique contrast between the calm focus of their craft and the liveliness of New York City.
