Governor's Committee on Scholastic Achievement Awards at The Pierre Hotel
The Governor’s Committee on Scholastic Achievement (GCSA) is a nimble nonprofit that partners with schools and corporations to provide one-to-one workplace-based mentoring across the four years of high school (and beyond!) in order to equip young people from under-resourced communities for college and career success. GCSA provides youth with unique opportunities to experience first-hand the “world of work,” develops relationships between mentees and mentors who can serve as role models, and provides innovative guidance to students as they develop their goals and focus on their future.

How do you walk past this incredible looking vegetable at the supermarket without buying some to bring home, photograph and eat. Romanesco Broccoli is one of the coolest looking plants on the planet. I spent a lot of time as a teenager staring with glazed eyes at fractals.

It's always a pleasure to work at the New York Botanical Gardens, but especially when I'm asked to cover some of the amazing kids programs that include the edible garden and some great chefs. Theater Photography - Angry Young Man at Urban Stages
Sometimes you have no idea what a photo shoot is going to entail, but this one turned out to be an absolute riot. I loved working with the cast of "Angry Young Man" and the amazing Director Stephen Hamilton. I can't wait to see the actual show and which photo they chose for the promotion.
Food Photography - Starr Catering at Rubin Museum
I love visiting the Rubin Museum, especially for the incredible food offered by Starr Catering in the Serai Cafe. I'd highly recommend all of the new dishes, especially the pork belly and the octopus.
