Experiencing the funeral ceremonies at the burning Ghats on the holy river Ganges is an unforgettable experience. You can't really photograph them as its not deemed polite, and they watch very closely.
Shimla
We saw record snow fall in Shimla, with almost 14 inches landing overnight the day before we arrived. Thankfully the roads cleared and we could see the center of town, and we were fortunately upgraded to the Oberoi, and had a fantastic room in the old British building.

I don't have much time to write about the work as I'm on the road so much. Below are a set of images taken in Amritsar, India.

It's always great to see photographs used, especially when they're emailed out to everyone from such an incredible place as Stone Barns.

City Harvest Market Bell Ceremony at Nasdaq
It's been almost exactly 2 years since I left the New York Stock Exchange. It was a nice reminder of that time and a great opportunity to work with one of my favorite clients, City Harvest. And as a bonus I got to say hello to Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, who just happened to be at Nasdaq watching the opening bell.

Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary Hillary Clinton visit NYBG
I don't normally talk about politics or religion much, it's normally safer to change the topic, but in the past year I've started to speak my mind. When I got the call from the New York Botanical Gardens that I could be photographing a presidential candidate the day after Christmas (Boxing Day) I was both excited and terrified. Thankfully it was the Clintons and they were super charming. Bill came over and shook my hand, I told him it was an honor to meet him, and he exclaimed in his cooler than school, raspy southern drawl "Nice!"

Food Photography - Lemon Bar
One of my favorite baked treats is a Lemon Bar. It always makes it easier to photograph food when you really love the item in the photo. This photo was taken on my dining room table with a bounce card behind the Lemon Bars and a flash bounced off the wall behind. Photograph taken on a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 100mm Macro Lens wide open.
