Franklin Resources Inc. is an American holding company that, together with its subsidiaries, is referred to as Franklin Templeton Investments; it is a global investment firm originally founded in New York in 1947 as Franklin Distributors, Inc. It is listed on the NYSE under the ticker BEN, in honor of Benjamin Franklin, for whom the company is named after, and who was admired by founder Rupert Johnson, Sr. In 1973 the company's headquarters moved from New York to San Mateo, California. Today, Franklin Templeton Investments is one of the world's largest asset management groups with over US$850 billion in assets under management (AUM) on behalf of over 25 million private, professional and institutional investors, as at September 30, 2014, up $29.7 billion or 4% during the 4th quarter (FY 2013).

Welcoming my second child to the world

I'm not always a fan of crossing my personal life with my business one, but sometimes huge milestones happen and they're too important to keep quiet. This week we welcomed the first girl born into our family for decades, Poppy Joan Roberta Hider was born on May 4th at 9:58am. We are in love and everyone is doing great!baby personal life I am taking off the rest of the week, and will be limiting my email access for a couple of weeks. I'll be back to work on May 10, and looking forward to booking out more photography work with everyone soon.

It's always amazing to walk through these epic showcases at the Jacob Javitz Center on the West side of Manhattan, but even better when a client who found me through google and are based in the United Kingdom hire me to photograph their setup and workflow.

The stunning spring beauty of NYBG sets the scene for this oenophile's weekend. Take in the unfolding display of flowering trees and other spring beauties and celebrate the result of 150,000 daffodil bulbs planted in November 2015 alongside the historic daffodil display at Daffodil Hill. New York State vintners offer a flight of palate-pleasing local wines while experts on winemaking and viticulture host demonstrations and discussions during presentations of their crafts.

I love covering different kid of events around the city, and this 5k is probably one of the few sports events I cover every year. Forever grateful for the connection with Jin, the director of photography at the 9/11 Memorial.

The route begins at Pier 26 and will follow along Battery Park City, with views of One World Trade Center. Immediately following the Run/Walk, participants are welcome to attend Family Day at the corner of Liberty and Greenwich streets, adjacent to the 9/11 Memorial plaza. There will be food trucks, music and activities for kids.

National September 11 Memorial & Museum

The mission of the Memorial and Museum is to bear solemn witness to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993 and to honor the nearly 3,000 victims of those attacks and all those who risked their lives to save others.
